Ed Limon, President and CEO of Intex Telecoms has summed up his recollection of the long time friendship with Nokia in his remarks. Quoting from his speech:

"I’d like to first and foremost, welcome our friends, business partners, current and future customers who are here to

Tonight, I would like to thank Nokia-Siemens for the trust and confidence with this awarding of channel partner certification to my company

Allow me to highlight a bit of history about INTEX. The company started in 1985 as a provider of telecom solutions and services for international and domestic carriers in the Philippines. As in all start-up companies, INTEX started from the grassroots, trying to penetrate the industry. It was in 1988 that INTEX partnered with NOKIA and introduced Nokia Data Communication Products thus becoming a major player in the industry. From that alliance, we were able to become partners with the major telecom carriers such as PLDT/SMART, Eastern Telecom and Globe Telecom in providing other NOKIA products such as transmission equipment and backbone networks. I would like to say that that partnership brought invaluable experiences and core competence to the company.

At present, NOKIA SIEMENS provided leading-edge technology solutions to our customers such as NGCP and in return, benefit from the technical support provided by both companies.

In these challenging times, it is most important that we are committed to be a step ahead of our competitors. With the technological know-how of Nokia and the local sales expertise of INTEX, the task to expand and keep the name of Nokia in the industry is a force to reckon with. We will be solution-providers in their endeavor to make things better for our customers. We will be part of the growth that our clients have tasked upon themselves. Hand in hand we will be able to serve not only their needs but also to give them cost-saving technology solutions.

I am proud to be part of NSN channel program and we will continue to create success in our business.

Thank You."
